 this analogy comes to mind when it comes to the modular synth , you have pots that in best case look like nipples ,and you got holes where you stick little pins in ,the sound you get is similar to your mother shouting at you for cleaning the room or taking out the trash ,now who would want to work on their relationship with their mothers for 10 yrs
