 Playing around with a homemade Serge 

in case you missed this...

 

   

Serge '73 VCF ,original layout from Serge ,using 2 x CA3080 , i cleaned up this layout to my taste and build this filter using this ..twice ,little tip : if you're using this layout and don't have a metal can CA3080 you can use that chip in SMD with adapter ,using CA3080 in TH can be hard ,this one and few other original layouts from that Serge system can still be found at the wayback machine . Here is Gerber files for this interesting filter , you can see i did not completed the silkscreen since the original documentation contained that information .

This information was already online ,contact me if i need to remove it from this google website .

Homemade Serge

Simple pattern on my big serge-a-like modular ,few years ago ,before i sold it to pieces ,here using 2 x VCS ,a VC ADSR ,SSG and 73 VCF by Serge

Serge Triple Waveshaper

 PCB Layout for Serge Triple Waveshaper ,this is the original Serge PCB that was hosted at old CGS Website ,i redraw it and built already two of these ,the only flaw is that it's bit quiet ,so i've added a Serge schematic of High Gain Amp and it suits perfect 

Positive Slew (PCB Layout)

 

PCB layout for Positive Slew in case anyone
wants to build the Serge Positive Slew ,to mention it's only single Positive slew ,and not dual like in original Serge ,however it's easy to make as the board is big and suitable for beginners ,not dense as in the CGS boards which i also have redrawn for this module,the board is 100x100mm ,tested and workin ,few values of resistors are not labeled but very easy to find looking at the positive slew schematic ..the resistor connected to out and pin 8 of the lower LM3900 is 820K and the resistor from neg (negative pulse out) and pin 9 is 220R  ,between base of the transistor and out is 4k7,Good luck !

 

 

 

 

 

 

Bastle Kastl in 4U

 PCB layout for Bastl Kastle in 4U ,this includes additional 5.1V Zenner diodes for protection on each CV input ,the Panel is something i came accross at ModularGrid

 

 

single Serge negative slew ,pcb layout is tested and working ,print is 300 dpi

Serge ' 73 VCF , suitable for eurorack format , PCB is tested and working with single cv input , so simply don't install the bottom IC and you got a working '73VCF as it was meant with single input , low freq option is added (edit: this is not all that great layout ,i can suggest you to use the original serge '73 vcf layout ,the only difference is it uses CA3080 )
