I found this schematic and layout many years ago and i even made PCB for this but never built it , so when i tried to find again the layout and schematic on line there was none , or just hard to find so i decided to share it here . This is not my layout ,and i have not built it , but reading the comments elsewhere this is a very nice Kick drum .

Few more layouts are available at https://synthesizerunderconstruction.blogspot.com , i updated the Buchal 106 PCB layout with dual layer smaller PCB .There is now PCB layout for 3 Band Moog Parametric Equalizer . As i am building a new DIY mixer i decided to include few DIYRE Color modules like Distortastudio and FA38 from Trident Consoles . There is a new layout for Vintage Serge VCO , and updated the layouts for Buchla 194 ,and the MOTM Yamaha GX VCF for which i finally got the PCBs.

Frequency Shifter
This is yet another untested layout . I made the boards for this and even collected the parts ,but have not completed yet . I found this schematic at Henry's Electronics web page . There is not much information on line other then that sadly as well as no other reported builds . The frequency shifter there contains also a Sine/Cosine VCO and i decided to use another Quadrature VCO for this purpose ,so in that sense this is uncomplete . I made two layouts ,that is for the Dome Filter and the Ring Modulators & Summing Mixer .One of the boards is double layer ,while the Ring Mods board is single layer with a number of jumpers .Normally you would want to match the caps in the Dome filter as closely as you can .This is set up in such way that you would use the +/- 5V from the Ring mod board and connect it to Dome filter board ,other than that both boards are connected normally to +/-15V

I made a new Blog Page ,is this end of life for this one . Over the years i made more then few PCB layouts ,and many of them were built ,tested ,modified ,so it kind of itches to place them in one directory ,like a schematics vault ,or a modular synthesizer ,so i found a layout that is working good for this purpose ,this documentation is free to download along with gerber files . Music and pretty pictures are not hosted here but i hope the list of modules will grow as i need to revisit some of the earlier layouts i made . Most people will just go and buy the kit and this is if you think you might save a few bucks . Here's the link :

voltage scrambler
This is not an attempt to design a module ..still the ideal diode tutorial from Jim Patchel inspired me for this module ,i was gonna make a panel that featured few of the examples he gives in the tutorial ,and so i even draw this schematic combining 3 simple modules . As in the basic ideal circuit from Patchel's site this module has one input and one break cv input .At the outputs you get 2 different voltages derived from the input voltage and the break voltage input ,these are later fed into 2 voltage controlled glide modules originally designed by Serge ,as these fit very well as submodules cause of their simplicity ,and finally the slewed voltages coming out of the glide submodules are mixed with single cv processor also originally designed by Serge . I find it interesting cause the two upper and lower parts can be inverted with the processor . I am not sure if this would make sense in a modular ,as i have not built it yet ,however i have built a waveshaper based on the ideal diode circuit and that is working fine .
